In the Dutch town Oud-Beijerland a memorial service was kept to honour all 87 Allied and Dutch military personnel who lost their lives in Holland while serving in Europe in World War II.. The anthems of all eight different nationalities were played, a.o. God save the Queen and The Star-Spangled Banner. Mayors of nearby municipalities were present, as well as the banner guard of the Royal Canadian Legion.
